Oh hilarious. I meant here, clever clogs.
You could've come and sung along with our singing rehearsal this evening.
I'm wiped out, having played through the whole of one musical, and yelled out instructions, and tried not to have the giggles at the two lead singers, and sung along with the ropy Oo-ee-oos and ba-ba-bas and bop-she-wad-di-wah's but everyone seems to think it's going to work.
You're doing Grease, aren't you...?
No. Something set way back many centuries ago, in a place where any dream will do!
Ah, not long after the Bible began. Where that bloke Jacob lived in the land of Canan (sp?), a fine example of a family man... I was in it at primary school and then I got measles and missed the performance, I was gutted.
That's the one!
There's a very long saga as to why I wasn't allowed to be in the performance at secondary school. To this day I don't get why going to France the next day was the reason cited by my mother.
Mmmm.
I suppose being contagious was fair enough. Perhaps we could perform it between us - you be Joseph, I'll be everyone else!
OK! You're on!
It's Canaan. In the interests of accuracy.
Thank you. I love that I remember all the words.
They are scarily embedded in my psyche, I think. This will be the third time I've been involved in this, and it didn't take long for me to have most of it off by heart.
Which is just as well, since I'm playing the piano for it as well as singing along as well as being chief yeller of instructions. Luckily, we are only doing a sing through rather than a staging, else I'd be really tearing my hair out by now!
It's the weekend tomorrow and all will be well. Have a great weekend...x
