I hear the PhD Sirens call me...

Someone at work is trying to convince me I want to do my doctorate.
I know it's madness but I can't get the thought out of my head.
Without my MA work I have been feeling a bit lost.
And now I've definitely graduated - unless something goes hideously wrong before next Wednesday - it all seems a bit of an anti-climax.
There are lots of ways to do your doctorate now. You can do it by publication, which means I can work and do it. Combining career and learning is what it's all about these days. Oh, but the commitment.
Dammit, I'm supposed to be learning the violin next...
Need to think.
