Whipped out his notebook, scribbled down the engine no and shoved it back in his ill-fitting Littlewoods-shade of blue jeans.
Haven't seen one in ages. Must be the weather...

That's amazing. You have to admire the devotion to hobby v fear a passing gang of yobs will chuck him onto the tracks
I thought all that sort of thing had died out. I actually saw an item on the news that said many of them had taken up Truck spotting instead!
