Damn You, Insomnia

Have woken up bright as a button at 1am.

Spent a good 10 minutes pondering bout whether to lie there and attempt sleep re-entry when realised I was in filthy mood *oh yes - knackered and all PAH!*.

Better to get up and read and watch rubbish tele rather than endure what one of my fellow semi-somnambulists refers to as a Scott Fitzgerald episode.

"In a real dark night of the soul it is always three o'clock in the morning, day after day...."

Damn You, Insomnia! *shakes fist in genral direction of where Insomnia, might be lurking*

Brewing up time, methinks.

I was suffering from the same problem, until I started reading random people's blogs... like this one. It passes the time quite nicely until my body is ready to be shut down for long enough to make it worthwhile!

Well here's a soporific tune for you - I've been randomly trawling youtube for an insomnia theme tune - other than the old Faithless standby, which I've already done to death.

yeah, about 3am - Scott Fitzgerald time! Crashed on the sofa with a spare duvet. Nibs had been out on the lash with his mates and he's murder to share a bed with when he's been drinking - all elbows and moaning in his sleep.

Oh dear... one of the meds I was given made me like that... I'd shake when I was asleep... and moan... and be all 'spiky' arms and legs in bed... :))

Well beer does it to him - or maybe it's the pizza he woofs when he gets in.

Anyhow, got five hours and that's plenty. I'm off for a run - see you later! I'll think a bit more about Something for the Weekend but I reckon I'm in with a shout.
