Up for work this morning at 6am and it was light! Light! Light!
No black, oppressive night-timeness. Tweety birds, blue sky - light.
Yay, hello Spring... though it's still Baltic out there.
Can you have your cake and eat it? Well I can tomorrow, it's my birthday!!
The clocks go forward at the weekend, don't they? I can never work it out - does that mean mornings will be lighter or dark again?
At 6am it'll really be 5am, so it'll be dark again, yes? Until the sun catches up with us, anyway.
Not to put a downer on your day or anything...

I'm just a summer person... loathe the darkness of winter, love the light. Getting up at 6 isn't so bad when it doesn't look like 4am.

Thank you Bunnybunbunbun. So do I! I'm off to the great cake emporium later to buy a big cake for my chums at work. I've never worked out why you have to buy cake for other people on your own birthday, but it's the rule in offices (offices are a bit rubbish, yes!).

agreed, its a stupid rule. they should make you cake and then you can share it. i thought it was today, but then i am easily confused sorry to have aged you by a day!

No such luck. Dissertation all the way 
It is quite warm and the snow is melting fast. Went running these last three days and enjoyed the disgusting sound my sheakers made in the wet yuck that forms when the snow starts to melt the second it falls on the ground.
