Travel Sick

On the bus.

This morning.

No, not me. On the floor. Vomit.

Went to sit down and then realised what I was walking into. Scurried quickly to my right and another seat.

Yesterday smelly old man who lives down the road and wears his door key round his neck managed to keep seats behind and in front of him clear. That's pretty good going.

I was fortunately upwind in the circle.

It's enough to make me consider buying a car again.

Got to go - it's Cheltenham this week. Got to monitor my horses' progress this afternoon.

Curiously icky bus moments are like buses themselves - you don't get one for ages and then they all come along at once.

I wouldn't want to put you off communal travel, the good outweighs the bad most days.

This has to be one of the best adverts against public transport... XX(

To be fair I used to use buses a lot before moving out into the sticks and it was quite common to find unmentionable things on the upper deck, but the lower lever was almost always clean.

Oh these were both downstairs, but you've got to see this in context. I'm on buses twice a day, five to six days a week Trains the same. 9.8 times out of 10 there's no incident.

what is all this fascination with cheltenham? every time i switch on radiofivelive its bloody cheltenham. its just horses running around a track with tiny chaps on 'em innit? never any football on the radio these days.....

er got any tips?

Will all be over by Friday teatime, ready for footie, so worry not.

I'm a tenner up on a fiver stake today. Don't get my tips till morning, got to weigh up going and whose definitely up for running and stuff...

I do quite like the horsey racing sometimes but I think it would be more exciting if they did it like in Ben Hur where they have chariots that they ride on and they can smash up each other's wheels with knives and things. Much better I reckon!
